Lauren Thomas

Lauren is a 2013 Fairmont State University Alum. She completed her Bachelor's Degree in Applied Science with a focus in Fashion Merchandising and minored in Retail Management.

Lauren currently serves as Development Director with the American Heart Association. In previous roles she has helped to plan over 600 blood drives and coordinated more than 200 weddings. She has served as Chair of the GENMo Board, formerly Generation Morgantown, and in 2019, she served as Community Service Chair and Co-Chair.

Lauren is the Immediate Past President of the Rotary Club of Cheat Lake. She is honored to serve on the Visit Mountaineer Country Convention and Visitors Bureau Board as well as the East Fairmont High School Foundation Board of Directors.

Lauren resides in Morgantown, WV, with her husband, Austin, whom she met while a student at Fairmont State, and their two fur babies.
